Redolence/Penthouse Lounge

Been and ate in here a couple of years ago and was fine. Our recent delivery unfortunately was not very good, it was about two hours until it arrived from being ordered, we had to call after it was saying it was delivered and it wasnt. When the food came it was luke warm- nann was rock hard for the majority of it so must have been over cooked or been sat waiting for a while. Really disappointing.

Just okay, starters dips etc were standard, my guest really enjoyed the "Special" of Murg Masala, which I have to agree (since I tried it also) was nice. For me what let the visit down was: 1) The Rogan Josh, it was just too much onion (not reduced enough into the sauce) and I don't think i saw/ate one pepper and 2) The Nan was doughy inside and didn't seem cooked through, the surface was crispy and nice but the inside left a lot to be desired. 2 people, a couple of drinks each, starter plus a couple of poppadoms, curry each came to 60, a bit steep for the quality I'm afraid. Don't get me wrong, it isn't of my lists of places to go but unfortunately, it won't be my first choice. Many thanks to the staff though as they were very patient as I caught up with an old friend.
