Gordon Anstis House - YMCA Worcestershire

Nice idea of supported housing for young people if it works but it doesnt sadly. My son has had things stolen and been the victim of assault in the building no one would do anything because he wouldnt go to the police himself. There is cctv in the building but not quite sure what it is used for other than find reasons to kick people out again. After less than a year the YMCA are kicking my son out who has autism, significantly poor mental health and dyspraxia support needs but because he is to difficult to work with ( cant get him to engage regularly)and he has struggled to be independent with money and got into arrears they are kicking him out because they have given up on him. It seems it isnt designed for all young people with support needs just those that dont have other complexities and will conform

One of the worst places I have ever lived residents are out of control staff are useless and only care for your own well being of you have a job or they moan at you to get one showers are faulty half the time staff sign you up for things without asking and don't stop knocking your door till you agree some staff are rude and stuck up looking down their nose at you honestly I would not recommend this place
