        One of the worst hotels ever, we arrived reception friendly got to our room OMG , poo in loo with toilet paper on top,bins not emptied no mattress or pillow protector stains on sheets and towels,dirty cups in cupboard with rubbish,bathroom was minging we left straight away, AVOID how this place is allowed to stay open I dont know, its dangerous bag over the smoke alarm ,PLEASE AVOID Safety: This place should be closed due to hygiene and safety issues

        Booked through Agoda 6 days before going, only to find out after turning up that the hotel has been shut for over a week due to no hot water. The place is an absolute shambles, scruffy, and badly run. There was 3 phone numbers taped to the reception door, non of which got through to speak to anyone and we only found out what was going on because a delivery guy turned up and happen to have the owners number. Absolute disgrace whether it's the hotel or agoda's fault. It left me and my wife stranded. All we got back was a refund on what we paid and 10% credit with Agoda. Wow! Considering we had to drive over 200 miles. I'm amazed this place still exists. I'd recommend avoiding this place and save a lot of stress.

        I stay here often and, for me, exactly the kind of place I am looking for on a budget and for regular visits. Rooms are warm, clean and the mattresses very comfortable. It's quiet and the staff are very helpful. The grounds are lovely. You won't do better for the money and some of the other reviews fail to factor in the price. It's like a US Motel...laid back...no hiers and graces...down to earth hospitality. I'll be back again
