Barbaras Driving School

I highly recommend Barbara as she is an excellent driving instructor, she has helped build my driving skills and confidence with her calm manner. I always felt that I was in safe hands every time I got into the car with her and I was always greeted with a smile. Barbara always talked me through what I was going to be attempting with the help of diagrams which helped me understand the task. Barbara answered any questions I had and was vey flexible with her lesson times and always tried her best to fit me in even when the lesson hadn't been scheduled. She always notified me in advance if she had to re-schedule a lesson but most importantly she always showed up on time and let me know where about she was waiting for me. Thank you Barbara I really appreciate the help and support you gave me to pass my test!

Absolutely shocking. Out of 9 lessons, she cancelled 5 last minute with the last one last week a complete no show without any message. Having been convinced by my wife to try and engage again, WE'VE been accused of cancelling last week without notice!!! We were waiting at the door and messaged to see where she was - no show and no response to the message. Awful - we will now be using someone else. STAY AWAY.

After having a bad experience with a previous instructor, I chose Barbara to teach me how to drive. Her calm teaching, understanding of the Highway Code and knowledge really helped me to be able to have the confidence in my driving ability which allowed me to pass first time. A high quality instructor and also a great person whose calming presence helps any nerves when first learning to drive and on the day of your test. Highly recommend Im Harrys mum and having had to change instructors because harry stresses and needs confidence. Ive found barbs has been the tonic we have needed. Patient,caring, sympathetic, also strict when needed and motherly and honest has given harry the confidence and positivity to believe in himself. Amazing babs thankyou so much for you just being you
