Bit of a weird review really as I wasn't really sure what to rate it. I went to have my hair cut and coloured as part of a Groupon voucher. Now firstly I want to say how absolutely lovely the staff are and how nice the atmosphere is there! It has been such a long time that I have been to a salon where everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Honestly on that basis alone I would highly recommend this Salon. I chose a colour I liked and was very open that I had realistic expectations of how it would look since my hair was/is dark and the samples are put onto almost white hair. However, after having the colour on, which I will say the lady did very thoroughly, it just wasn't anywhere near the colour I chose. I didn't say anything to the lady because I don't think it was genuinely anything she did wrong per say and the colour it went wasn't a horrible colour, it did look nice, it just wasn't what I was expecting to see, and I will say that it hasn't been very long since I had it done and it is already quite faded. On the plus side, my hair is all one colour now which I am pleased about. Secondly, I sent the stylist a few photographs of the style I wanted. I knew my hair needed a really good cut, so I sent the style I liked in different lengths. Again, it's very difficult because the style I now have is nothing like what I sent across, but it's not a bad style either! It does look really nice, and my hair feels so much healthier. It's just again not what I expected. This is why I didn't complaint when I left. It was close to the time our appointment was due to end, and I felt really awkward after seeing the effort she had put into my hair. And like I said, it doesn't look bad at all. It looked really lovely after she had styled it, but once it had been worn and washed, it's not really what I was hoping for, but at the same time, it's not something that I dislike either. Overall, I would recommend the Salon to others; I saw a few people in their having their hair done and they were so happy, and the colours looked amazing. I also love that you get matched with a stylist before your appointment. Like I said, my stylist was such a lovely lady, no complaints about her at all.
