By far the best place to go for Auto electrical work. I was quoted 150 for load resistor to be installed at another garage and so I tried looking around. I came across ALM and they did it for 50 pounds. Really pleased, they did a great job and offer great cheap price.

My mate uses this place a lot - doesn't go anywhere else as its so good. Got a quote for a car battery, a known brand, and it was competitive, including 4yr warranty.

I bought a Powerlite battery for my Supra 1993 , was impressive with weight and power. After about 9 months I noticed that it started to bulge on one side and after about 11 months it was bulging on both sides and the power was greatly reduced. Reduced to a point where the car was struggling to turn over. I called the company and they said that it had been over charged, I told him that the alternator out put never exceeds 13.3v as per many gauges and tests directly with the alternator. They were having non of it Really disappointed with their attitude. They wouldn't even go further in to investigating why the unit would be like this. It's obviously a renamed Chinese product looking fancy, if not, then it's substandard. Staying with the good old reliably Acid battery. Shame on the company to not investigate their own product, let alone customer service!
