I came in for lunch and had the chicken pie, it has been a very long time since Ive had a good chicken pie but today, I can say I have had one again! Excellent service and friendly staff - will be back very soon.

I went here for work drinks with colleagues. I didn't like the smell inside. It could be from the old building or just the smell inside a pub. I'm not a drinker, so I won't be going back there. I would have liked to see the menu beforehand to find out the food or non alcoholic drinks options but couldn't find the menu on the Google profile.

On a Sunday at 1 pm, one expects the gas supply to the draft beer to be working. A full menu to be offered and what one orders to be served (a cold sharing plate was forgotten). There was no cheese. Roast beef was slightly better than average. Roast vegetables had not been par- cooked. The claimed "Coravin" system was not in evidence, though my Ctes du Rhone was fine. The gents' lavatory was a disgrace. One urinal was so damaged that every time it flushed, water cascaded over the floor, which was dirty. The staff did their best.
