A young man also with a walking stick overheard my conversation, he then said just wait a minute or 2, after that he escorted me in to the CLOSED office to return my parcels, he knew how I had struggled to get there.....what a Superstar he was, so please no negative comments about this Post Office, inside was another man who allowed me to bring my dog in last time he then helped me by taking my packets to be scanned and said wait here and I will do it all for you....totally amazing service their are still some very nice people around, thank you from the bottom of mynheart

- Postman Lied about attempted delivery (we were home)
Big cost to us as it was an urgent passport delivery with visa
- Then another false email saying delivery attempted the next day, and to come and collect
- went into office, computer said no - was out for delivery. We were advise to go home to wait for delivery (our updated flights the next day)
- luckily we stayed and would not leave - several times pleading to look everywhere despite the computer saying no
- after over an hour, one helpful guy who had been looking came back with the parcel - it was in a bag that it should not have been in, and if we had not stayed and been stubborn, it would not have been delivered and we would have completely missed a week ski holiday in France - purely because of Royal Mail incompetence
This is basic process failures, and no accountability. The manager is clearly incompetent at managing, and should be fired.
Royal Mail failed at the most basic thing - get the delivery to the correct place at the correct time, and with the next day guaranteed service. This company is dead in the water.
