    The best salon in London. I went there for the first time nearly two years ago and have never thought once changing despite is far from where I live. Vera is an expert and did the most amazing facial on me so I went again. The prices are also good and for the treatment you get it is worth every penny. Thank you Vera

    I came here for eyelash extensions a couple of years ago. I never left a review back then because I was actually very traumatised by the unprofessional behaviour of the salon owner (at the time/dont know if shes still the manager ect). Ive been having lash extensions for a very, very long time and I have a very specific way that I like them done to fit my eye profile. Whenever I go for an appointment with any service provider I always make it clear of what I want done, the length and the mm thickness. The lady who did my lashes, I explained to her the sizes and showed her a photo of exactly what I wanted; she was so assured in herself that she could do this, so I agreed to go forward with the lashes being done. After she had finished, I sat up and looked into the mirror. I said to her this is not anything like what I had shown her, that these were very short and not whispy at all. She had used 8-11mm in length and 0.10mm thickness, which was not what I had asked for. I explained I wasnt happy and she then turned very cold/blaming me - but told me to speak to her manager. So I went upstairs, did that and the response I got from the manager was SOOOO incredibly rude and unprofessional, blaming me and saying that because Id had the lashes done I was still expected to pay (I think it was 60-70 cant remember the price but it was expensive). She hadnt carried out the service Id asked for and I showed her my expectations but clearly she wasnt experienced enough to do the type of style I wanted. That was her fault for not refusing to do the lashes when she knew perfectly well she wasnt going to do them the way I had asked - not even close. She wasted ALL of our time. I refused to pay, as I would now need to get these removed and another set done properly - which was costing me more money for their mistake. They said they wasted these removed by themselves, to pay or they would not let me leave. There wasnt ANY way or ANY chance I would be trusting that woman or her rude manager to touch my face again, not even a chance. You dont verbally abuse customers and expect them to let you touch them - so that was never going to be an option. Not to mention two hours of my time had been wasted (plus another hour after the scene that unfolded next). Because I refused to pay, the owner LOCKED ME INSIDE and refused to let me leave. Firstly, you cannot hold people against their will ITS ILLEGAL. Secondly, you were in the wrong for accepting custom when you could not provide the service correctly or up to the standard you promised. THIRDLY a customer has the right to refuse to pay if the service has not been done properly or up to the standard YOU promised. Its was absolutely disgusting. It was unprofessional and mean girl vibes. You should have been ashamed of yourself for such unprofessional and bully behaviour, rather than taking accountability for your own mistakes. I was kind enough to pay 25, just so you would free me from your prison, otherwise you threatened not to let me leave. Judging by other comments around the same time, you did this to other people too. Hopefully you have learnt from these mistakes and do better. Luckily, I found someone who had the correct experience and was able to provide me with what I had asked for without promising me unrealistic expectations to their experience and talent.
