Went there once as I was struggling with depression severely. I could tell by his tone and what he said that this doctor could not care less. His advice was a website for mental health that my work offered. As you can imagine it was no help at all and Im not the type of person who seeks help from other people unless Im absolutely desperate and its my last choice. This visit tipped me over the edge as I felt like the one place that couldve helped me or at least guided me in the right direction simply did not care and i fell into alcoholism for years and looking back I blame this surgery. Even if there isnt much a GP can offer when it comes to mental health at least listen to your patient and dont act so entitled and like you dont care. Dont offer appointments for mental health if youre clearly not trained in the field because what happened to me couldve ended way worse than it did and I honestly feel so sorry for anyone else who finally gets the strength to try get help and chooses this surgery for that reason. I dont remember the mans name but he looked south asian and in his 40s-50s. Go anywhere else but here if u want help and not to be treated like just another statistic they dont care about because theres no way Im the only person hes treated this way he looked like he was bored and used to it LOL

They will always try and fit you in as soon as they are able and the medical and admin staff have always treated me with dignity and respect when I visit.

I have to admit, first and foremost, that the extremely negative reviews of this practise made me quite reluctant to go to my appointment. I was concerned that I would require emotional support after leaving. I decided, however, to give Dr Gerard D'Cruz the benefit of the doubt. And I am very, very glad I did. Dr Gerard was both professional and compassionate, systematic and sympathetic, scientific and human. He is one of the most effective communicators I have ever met (and I just so happen to have studied communication for the past ten years). How did I feel when I entered his office? Nervous. How did I feel when I left? Relaxed and with peace of mind.
