Excellent successor to the troublesome Wetherspoons. Great service, lovely food, marvellous staff. The thick cut bacon for breakfast is a real treat, a breakfast that fills you up all day. And those Black Rock steaks with a sauce, butter, even flavoured salt of your choice and 2 sides, all in the price, you have to try them. Sundays a carvery is also available. Really lovely joints, choice of 5 veg inc. cauliflower cheese and red cabbage with cranberry sauce, gravy and roasties. Coming back for that.

Very nice place to chill out with friends and family. It's a family pub that enjoyed drinks with a safe environment for children. Being vegetarian found fewer things to eat, need to increase some veg sandwiches/panini's to have bites while drinking.
