poor service!! Bad experience

We walked in at 2pm at 1/5/2023, asked for a table for 8. We had no reservations. All of us are Chinese. The on shift manager - called Kealiegn told us that we would have to wait until 3pm (she repeated it for 3 times). We requested we could split into 2 tables for convenience, yet she denied us a seat when the shop was half full only, saying the rest were reserved. Then we prepared to leave for not waiting 1 hour. A family of 7 and 2 couples came behind us, they clearly stated they were no reservation but arranged them to be seated immediately on 2 tables of 4 and a table of 4 respectively. We had made confirmation with them and they replied crystal clearly that they didnt booked. They were all white people. We complained it but manager tried to calm us and offered tables right away. Why did manager changed when we complaint on it? Why she arranged the later clients to be frontier? We feel disrespectful and discriminated. Disgusting service attitude, would not recommend at all. The literal blatant disrespect we have been shown is unacceptable.

Absolutely beautiful meal, my 1 year old ate all his pasta and we enjoyed both our burgers. Waitress Nicki was very polite and checking up on us. Will definitely visit again (table 4 on April 28th '23)
