Mulgari Cars

I dont usually leave reviews but my recent experience with Mulgari was so overwhelmingly positive that I think it deserves some feedback. I have 2012 Mini Cooper S convertible. Only used for short local trips when the sun is out. As stock it was never slow but I always felt it could be so much more. I researched YouTube and the web and created a short list of mods that I was interested in. I was torn between selling it and buying a JCW or modifying mine. I contacted Darren who responded with his suggestions which actually were less expensive than my shortlist. We talked on the phone and then I booked my car in. We (royal we) reinstated the bonnet scoop air intake, upgraded the plugs, added a better intercooler and forge resonator delete pipe, stage 2 map and exhaust resonator delete. I could not be happier, the car is utterly transformed. It is hilarious, whilst at the same time it is measured and in no way ASBO or obnoxious. The remap is very linear, it doesnt just give a great dollop of torque and boost, it is very progressive and encourages you to keep going towards the red line. The sound is well judged, lots of intake noise and a few more crackles from the exhaust, but not silly. The work was done on time and on budget with expert advice for free. I will definitely be back. Next is suspension and brakes. Cant recommend enough, if you are thinking about it, stop. Just do it, you will not be disappointed. Services: Wheel alignment, Auto engine tuning

Visited this business in September as they were the original builders of my current car by a previous owner. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Spent time talking and making plans for the future. Would recommend the owner Darren to any of my friends up that way. Managed to change my filter that had seen better days whilst i was there as not local to the garage. Excellent work by Darren sorted out a revised map for my car, as the one previously applied was full of holes and spikes. Car is now in a different league to before! I'm not a fan of anyone touching my vehicle's due to my background in mechanical engineering, however Darren has been around a long time, has worked with serious vehicles and a lot of industry figures that I've known in the past, so be assured that the service you will get from Mulgari will be second to none and can be fully relied upon! Contacted three times, once via email then actual visit followed by social media chaser. Not bothered to come back to be on a quote for work. I was a returning customer so I am pretty disappointed in this poor customer service.
