I rented a minibus for a week to go on a trip to Scotland. When I collected it Andy was very helpful and explained all the details as needed. During the trip there was a small issue with the car but all the necessary help was given over the phone. On return I was able to leave the car in the designated place at 2am to be checked next morning. Very happy with the service and if needed I would deffinetely go back and rent again. Thank you.

We moved out of Reading end of August on the last weekend, when the festival was full on and apparently no vans available to hire anywhere. Of course, we left everything last minute. I was so stressed and nervous and 1st Reading Van Hire was a small business and the only one that had availability and let me book online. After trying so many sites that requiered too much information just to say nothing is available, this seemed too easy to be true. I even walked there to make sure the next day i really have a van. Andy was polite, reasurring and above all, real. There are so many businesses out there with slogans they do not live to, so meeting Andy and having this easy , no fuss renting experience was unexpected. He had a smaller van that what we were looking available, but we took it and next day when we went to pick up, he managed to move things around and a bigger van was handed to us. No fuss. Easy process. Was a Saturday morning and we gave the keys back same day in the evening, when all other agencies would have been closed and requiered a full weekend rental, plus a Monday( bank holiday, so closed). Fully recommend Andy and his agency. Was by far the best experience we had with small, local businesses; he is kind, fast, organised and profesional. Wish you all the best!!
