Zam layed vinyl in the bedroom, and did a brilliant job. Very pleased with the finished result, will definitely use him again. Highly recommend.

Zam laid 46 square metres of LVT for us in kitchen and lounge. He is very mthodical and uses quality materials to achieve a proper job. He is also a very nice guy and I would recommend him very highly.

After all good reviews I am surprised that my experience with Zam was not so good. May be because he is not that good at laminate flooring, not sure. See below long story if interested: We agreed throughout laminate flooring scope with him. First problem occurred due to lack of advice from him. We were not aware that the uneven surfaces in some rooms would be problematic. He did not warn us and finished the flooring on top of the uneven parts as well. When I came to check the job some parts of the flooring was squeaky. He then clarified the issue accusing the uneven base. I got it however the problem is he did not notify us about this issue in advance. Probably he was concerned because he already had procured the laminate at that point and probably did not want to complicate the scope/cost/time etc. However we would have remedied that problem before he finishes the flooring if we have been given the chance. Unfortunately he had put us in a position that we had to accept the problem. Then he just couldnt do the finishing of door bars at some areas. This time accusing the existing tiling that the laminate floor meets with. First he tried to stick one and it snapped 45 mins after he left the property. After a week he came back and fixed another one with screws this time which is like joke aesthetically. Also it now presents tripping hazard due to non flush screws. He tried to convince me whilst accusing the tiling level being uneven this time. The way he tried to convince me whilst always accusing other parts was annoying. Okay, I am not a flooring specialist but at least I can compare. The previous installation was laminate too finished along the same tiling and it was neatly done and was far better than Zams job. I have added before and after images of that area for reference. In short he is a nice guy with nice mood and tried to fix problems as we asked but unfortunately I would not recommend him for laminate flooring at all. Further edit: Zam felt bad about my comment came later to correct the issue with a different product on no further cost. I can confirm that he is a nice guy and does his best to do a good job.
