Thames Valley Pro Taekwon-Do Reading

I really enjoyed my taster session at Thames Valley TKD. I was nervous but was made to feel very welcome. Senior Master Whiteley and the instructors make the sessions fun but highly effective. I had a good workout, felt energised and ready for the weekend. My son aged 10 has been training for 4 years and can honestly say that learning the art of TKD has had such a positive impact on his confidence, co-ordination and fitness. Hes had the opportunity to enter competitions, attend workshops and train online through lockdown which was a Godsend! If you are looking for a professional club with high level coaching this is the place to be suitable for all ages and fitness.

I am recovering from having a herniated disc and needed to increase my mobility and strengthen my core after being sedentary for several months. I have been doing Fit45 once a week for 14 weeks and am already noticing the difference. My stomach muscles are tighter, hip flexors are more flexible and my clothes are feeling looser. I was nervous at first having never taken a Taekwondo class, however the instructor explains the stretches very well. I do not live in the area of the instructor so the Zoom format is perfect for me.

As a long time student of Thames Valley Taekwondo I can confidently say that this is a school that offers something for everyone, from those looking to improve their fitness and flexibility to those with aspirations of becoming a European or World champion. The excellent instruction and technical approach to all aspects of training both engages beginners and keeps established students motivated in their journey through the grades. By training with others in a fun team atmosphere this also, in my opinion, provides greater motivation to train than for example going to a gym. For me TaeKwon-Do is not hobbie, it is a lifestyle choice.
