I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the quality of care and service at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. My recent visit to the hospital was nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my experience with you in the hope that something can be done to improve the situation. Firstly, the wait times at the hospital are insanely long. I had to wait for almost five hours just to get a simple blood test done, and this is completely unacceptable. There seemed to be a severe shortage of staff, and patients were left waiting for hours on end with no explanation or apology. But what was even worse than the long wait was the cold and insensitive behavior of some of the hospital employees. I felt like I was just another number to them, and they showed no empathy or concern for my well-being. It was clear that they were overworked and stressed, but that is no excuse for treating patients with such indifference. I understand that working in a hospital can be challenging, but patients should not have to suffer because of poor management or lack of resources. I hope that you will take my complaint seriously and take steps to improve the quality of care and service at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.

I understand staff are stretched and underpaid. But I feel they are on a majority quite rude. However there are the odd staff members who generally care and treat you like a person.
