I have been with this surgery for over 20 years and everyone has always been very friendly, during the recent changes new people have obviously been taken on, in particular Ive found DR Featherstone brilliant he is thorough, genuine and makes time for you. .The nurses I have seen have also been great, however I feel One of the new women who works behind reception could improve her bedside manner and maybe learn to smile!!

This was an excellent surgery, but now they dont seem to care at all. Even tasks they are required to complete by the hospital theyre not doing and I have to really push to get them done. Also claiming theyve done tasks earlier then they have. This is the first bad review I have ever given about the NHS.

How on earth can you make an appointment?? This is the second time I have needed the surgery since the merger and the second awful experience. I have been off work ill (unusual for me) since Friday 18th evening, I have been getting worse all weekend and have phoned well over 15 times (I have literally lost count) to try and speak to someone this morning (Monday 21st) but it just cuts me off and says try again later. I have been told I was 13th place in a in a queue at 0945hrs today, its now midday, is that call coming? This happened last time, I try to do the right thing and dont want to waste the nhs time but I cant even speak to someone to arrange an appointment, let alone get one. Last time due to the same thing I called 111 who told me to go to A&E so I went to A&E who told me that I needed to speak to a GP!!!!, waisting everyones time! As I said I have been off work 3 days,, I rarely take time off work but feel awful and I feel completely let down. Wilderness Road surgery used to be nothing short of excellent but since the merger it has turned into a complete joke. When I feel better I will look at leaving and finding somewhere else. Do not recommend.
