An exceptional surgery.

Very unimpressed generally with the care that my family member receives however recently I had the displeasure of using the services myself. I was away from home & I needed an emergency appointment. On the plus point I did manage to get an appointment the same day. However, thats where the positivity ended. Once I had been called by the doctor I wasnt even round the corner before the reception staff were talking about why I was there, who I was etc etc. It was quite an unpleasant experience I have to say. It didnt stop there, I was greeted by a Doctor Who clearly either didnt want to be there or didnt want to see me. She was rude and cut and quite frankly I felt like I was being an inconvenience to her. Despite being a senior medical professional myself she completely ignored my opinion on my own health; even though it is a chronic illness I have been living with for over 30 years and insisted it was something far more simplified-which it wasnt (although I wouldve liked if it had been). She insisted on testing for this anyway and I had started to just give up and so went along with it. The test came back immediately and was confirmed negative exactly as I had said. She reluctantly treated me for the issue and even as I left the surgery I again could hear the receptionist and her colleague chatting away about me. I really dont think I have been to a more unprofessional health setting ever. And I really hope I never have to deal with them again.
