Rude and disgusting owners - Ive used the Hermes drop off here a few times and its almost always full of complications compared to other drop offs Ive used over the years. If they think the package is a bit too big because its larger than the size of an envelope then regardless of what Hermes website says or Hermes t&cs, they try to get rid of you and ask you to find somewhere else or call Hermes and tell them this parcel shop wont accept the package which creates a lot of stress for customers when the website says they do accept that size package at this shop. The icing on the cake recently was when the male owner came out and started shouting that they wont take a package because it wasnt an envelope sized package even though the area where packages are left was empty, and then when I asked him to step back because he was shouting about their policies right in front of my face without a mask on he told me he wont step back and I should leave the shop. This is terrible customer service not just from the shop owners but also from Hermes. Ive never seen anyone working at this shop wear a mask and when you use the label printing service, the extra paper that it generates once youve peeled the sticker cant be disposed of anywhere in the shop, you are told by the shopkeeper to take it outside and find the nearest bin instead. Would give zero stars if I could and the customers services issues are being escalated externally with Hermes.

Worst shop in caversham. The guy who works there is rude and unhelpful, his wife is better. They don't take medium to large parcels for Hermes even though they are supposed to, because it takes up to much of their shop. I'm sure they are getting paid by Hermes for this service... Recommend going somewhere else.

A nice cornershop. I'm not from the area, but I decided to pop in anyway and check it out. It's not bad. Beer selection was fine, lots of household necessities like gaffer tape or beans. Gentleman serving me was friendly and yet didn't pressure me into buying things I didn't need. It's businesses like this which tie a community together, like a fine rug ties a room together, or like the bonds of matrimony tie a family together. Anyway yeah, no complaints, I think the labelling was off on a couple of fridge products but I'm not going to bump off stars for that.
