Good choice of groceries, in a stuffy ambience, too much mind on strictly enforcing closing time, at expense of guest experience. Staff can be menacing, most of all when closing. The Marks & Spencer policy on closing is hostile & it alienates customers.

I went in at 7.50pm and there was other customers still shopping in there. I was choosing my bread and a very rude member of staff got in my face and told me the store was closed and that I need to leave now. I was taken quite back by this as I say there was other customers still in there. She was working on the bread/cake section (not sure if she worked there directly or if she worked in all the store.) When I went to the till, the other members of staff was very polite to me. Just one member of rude staff ruined it for me.

Decent sized food hall located in Lower Earley on opposite side of road to Asda. Car parking is limited and tight. Might better to park at Chalfont Pavilion car park and walk. They have new self service tills which where problematic when we visited. This store also takes crinkly plastic. This is a container at back of self storage area.
