I went to Crowthorne News & Post Office to send an item to a manufacturer via UPS. I purchased a flat pack box from the shop, assembled it and put the item in it, before I realised that I needed to print the label from UPS, rather than the bar code I presented. Despite the shopkeepers rather rude demeanour and incoherent communication skills, I apologised for my mistake, went home, printed the label and packaged the item in a more fitting box. I then flattened the box I had purchased and went back to the shop - with the packaged item and the flattened flat pack box. The disagreement ensued after completing the UPS transaction, when I asked for a refund for the box, as it was no longer required. I was told in an obnoxious manner that there was no refund on cards or boxes. I asked why, and where such a policy was communicated on site, especially as I had taken great care to make sure it was as new. He mumbled something to the effect that he wasn't giving me a refund. After a few minutes of back and forth, I offered to leave the box without my refund but was told to leave the premises. I left and I am never going back. I would rather travel miles from home to a different UPS drop off point than have to deal with this ill mannered "gentleman".

Despite saying they're open the post office part is closed, the guy behind the counter in the shop is a total ... so rude.
