Reading BSAC is a friendly club for scuba divers with any current qualifications to dive all over the UK (and abroad) on the many trips that are run each year for days, weekends and full weeks on either club boats or hired hard boats. If you want to learn to dive, the clubs instructors can take you from total novice to experienced diver over time periods that suit you and with a level of mentoring and constant support that you won't get anywhere else.

If you're looking to learn to scuba dive, joining Reading BSAC is a great value for money option when compared to the packages offered by commercial dive shops / schools. Plus you get the added benefits of a wealth of experience of the club's members, access to excellent facilities and equipment. If you're already a qualified diver and are looking for like minded people to dive with, then I would definitely consider joining as well. The club has an active dive and social calendar with UK and overseas trips run every year. As a active member of almost fifteen years now, I've had the opportunity to do a lot of fantastic diving in many great locations, and make alot friends in the process. My decision to join the club as a complete beginner all those years ago was definitely a good one!
