We loved it being here last weekend , winding up the kids summer holidays. The RSME is a lovely little place for train enthusiasts as well as others who likes a jolly good ride. The veterans over there are lovely and helpful. This is mostly volunteer driven, so whoever loves machines and have a little more time to spend on machines, can be a volunteer here. The folks realty need some fresh and young blood to carry on with operations and repair. There is a carpark and entrance to carpark is from Bath Road, a litle inconspicuous though for a firstimer to find the gate . Once in,ticket for a single ride will cost 60pence, and a set of 10 rides will be 5pounds. There is a little cafe run by RSME on premise, and a model train .A place to spend your afternoon and a park visit can drain the kids off their leftover energy..we will be going back again for sure ..There are 2tracks, one goes around the park, and another one is elevated .. and have different train engines..Steam and electric :) pack a little picnic and you won't be disappointed..A good ride is all we need

Great experience at a birthday party (22/10/2022). My first time on the train, it was lovely! The gentlemen who arranged this were hospitable and kind. Thank you!
