TGI Fridays - Reading Oracle

Dietary restrictions: They have a dietary requirements app on an iPad they give you, you select what you need to avoid and it lets you know what is safe (with the caveats that they cant guarantee no cross contamination). I found that my dish was customisable with some of the ingredients used, I just asked the server, she spoke to the chef and it was sorted

I've been to TGIF more times than I can count but this was my last ever visit. Took family, kids and grand kids. First the burger was made wrong took longer than all of us eating to get it fixed. No waiter would come over finaly got barman to come over and take it back. Then I even had to tell the chefs to make it with bun slice of cheese meat nothing else. They all thought it was funny. The sirloin steaks which were most expensive on menu were tougher than shoe leather. So all in all what should of been a nice treat turned out awful. I would give McDonald's which I don't like much a higher rating. Very sad as it has always been a good place till know.

The food was okay, but the service was a bit slow. However, the staff went above and beyond to make up for it. When I asked for the missing mushrooms in my dish to be replaced, they kindly offered corn on the cob instead. And to my surprise, they gave us complimentary desserts to make up for the long wait. This gesture was very much appreciated and shows that they truly value their customers. Overall, despite the slow service, the outstanding customer service more than made up for it. I would recommend TFI Friday for their willingness to go the extra mile to make their customers happy."
