I normally give great reviews but having a nightmare trying to get any response from my local Reading WLMG Alfa dealer to fix warranty issues, its exasperating and not down to Covid. Bought car from another Alfa Dealer (19 plate), auto wipers don't work, sat nav screen has bubbles in it, wheel emblem has fallen off and there are 2 rattles that need looking at. Call supplying dealer they say take it to local dealer for warranty claim, Call WLMG in December. They look at it in January 4th confirm wipers warranty claim and make some vague references that I must have sprayed the satnav screen with something - which I haven't, they say it will be 2 weeks before they get back to me. It's now 15th April I have called 5 times, filled out their online enquiry form been told 5 times they will call me back the same day but they never do to confirm when they can fix the issues. It's like travelling back in time when customer service was optional, feel like I'm complaining about a stale pack of crisps when its a 75k car. I never knew how good the service was at Jaguar where the Jaguar care follows up on every visit to see if you are satisfied and whilst not cheap dealers do all they can to fix the car. Sept 2021 footnote is Alfa customer relations became involved from Italy and after them pushing the supplying dealer the car was fixed. I now take the car from Reading 60 miles for Services and will not use WLMG to buy or service a car again. 2022 update when will I learn. For convenience I took my car back to WLMG for a oil service and update on wiring repair where it had dropped onto hot exhaust. Despite WLMG agreeing previously this was a warranty fix and forgetting to progress it they now decided to fabricate a story that the car must have been in an accident to cause the failure which it hasnt. Terrible really making up lies to cover for failing to progress the warranty claim. Maybe the owner who responded below should reach out to me for me to explain what its like dealing with your dealership. After all the response below was that this will not happen again but it has!

After driving on M25 to work my car had a amber light come on saying check engine. I asked Siri to take me to the best dealership I had two choices and I picked the right one for the day. Pulled up at the dealership and after doing my hands and wearing a mask I walked in and the staff was lovely and helpful. It was 5pm and the mechanic Who does the diagnostics was due to go home and a young man called Josh went in the back and explained my situation and he came back and the mechanic said he can squeeze me in. After 10 min I had the good news only a couple of miner faults and Josh with a smile said I did not have to pay. As I live over 60 miles away that was great news and as I have had a great service from them I will book my car into them and spend a day in reading once restaurant are open.
