This place has some of f the best flow trails in and around Shropshire and The student Champs trail is one of the best there is. Beautiful scenery and the option to ride Stiperstones or The Flying Scotsman to finish just makes it an incredible place to ride. You will need to be a good intermediate rider at worst but it is a great place to hone your skills! Oil can is a great trail too! It rides well all year round. Be respectful to both the trails and walkers if you are coming!

Very good mtb trails, definitely for more experienced riders with steep and technical terrain. The waymarked trail is the Revelation Trail, only around 8km long with about 400m of climb, but it packs a lot of action into that distance. The old downhill tracks are still rideable and well worth a few sessions, you can easily link them from the fire roads. You can also link the revelation trail into a longer trail over the stiperstones, this isn't waymarked though so you'll need to plan in advance. Free parking but no other facilities on site.

Great place, either for walking or a bike ride, nice views, great walk paths, fresh air, not many people so it is quiet as well, everything what makes you relax and enjoy your trip, really highly recommended place for anyone who's looking for peaceful place! Few parking spots available, but I belive you have to get there early if you want to get one :)

Being a mountain biker, Eastridge woods is one of Shropshire's best staples of trail and downhill riding, however, many of the directional signs lining the official trails have fallen down and with so many un-official trail criss-crossings it is frustratingly easy to get lost. *EDIT 3 YEARS ON* Three years on and not much has changed - and that's a double edged sword. Eastridge Woods is a place that grows with you as a mountain biker. As your skills, confidence, and kit improve, there is always a another run scarier than before to provide that adrenaline hit we all crave. Signage is still hit and miss, despite some locals efforts to install new signs marking the red graded trail. (Which is towards the more difficult side of red, probably a trail centre black). If you can find someone who knows their way around, or fancy using an app like Trailforks, the most rewarding riding can be found in the hills many off-piste routes. If you are riding alone, be sure to take it easy especially if you have never visited before - many riders have been caught out on Eastridge's steep, technical single-track. Parking is available at the main Eastridge Woods carpark or if you'd like to jump straight in to some of the off-piste on offer you can park at Snailbeach Village Hall. And most importantly, be sure to leave no trace of your visit. We love the hill so keep it clean and tidy. Enjoy!
