The cake is always good here. The customer service could be a bit better. But the cake is 5 out of 5.

Egg Free Cake Box Rayners Lane is amazing. Good cake. Tasty. Friendly staff. Small shop but have enough varieties and I will always be able to get the correct size cake from them. Will order again. Thanks.

This is the second time my order has been messed up by the Rayners Lane branch. The first time, I ordered for an auspicious occasion and they forgot to deliver the cake. I had to call them and in a hurry they did the piping which was messed up big time, not very happy about that. Now for today, I ordered a cake for the birthday and unfortunately it's the same story - they forgot to deliver. Staff is unwilling to listen to you and gets upset when you point out the fact they charge a 10 delivery fee and then just forget to deliver the cake! When asked about it, they promise we'll never make this mistake again which is an outright lie as it is the second time they promised this! Offering free cake slices or cake as an apology is not an option either, they have to stop charging people through the nose and than conveniently forget about the order and wait for the customer to remind them. I told them when offered please don't give us cake slices as it will go to waste (there is no way we can finish that on top of the cake!!) and they still did it as if actively ignoring my request makes them forgetting my order better? It just leads to a lot of food waste. The cake was clearly done in a hurry as well with messy toppings and piping. Never ever going to order cake from this place again. Such a shame

Liars!! Just visited to get a cake. There werent many left of the size and base I wanted. I asked if they had anymore at back he said no, I wanted one with sprinkles. As I paid and picked up the cake lady brought out more, exactly the one I wanted. I questioned him, he said of theyve just made itodd they made it in the 2 mins I was there. Hed even gone to back to write msg on it, so hed have seen them. Basically liars!!
