Excellent service and good prices. MOST IMPORTANTLY they supply a safe product and install it with safety in mind.
Please do your research when buying a fireplace. There are a lot of shops and fitters who lie to get your business, and will fit your appliance incorrectly. Buy from The Fireplace Shop and you'll know that your health will not be risked.

Eventually we got directed to these guys. After listening to the problem they then told us to ring their engineer and within a few hours he was at our house....within a few more hours he had fixed it. No mess, no hassle.
If only all retailers and tradespeople were like this. Amazing.

Several months later we sent numerous emails, left voicemails and tried to contact the engineer directly. We received no response for an entire week, so I went into the shop yesterday. The owner accepted he had received our voicemails but gave no reason for why he did not contact us. He did say was that it was busy the week before Christmas and one of his engineers had health issues in his family. Whilst the latter is unfortunate, none is this has anything to do with failing to pick up a phone or return correspondence from a working business.
I would have expected the owner to accept this was handled poorly and pull out the necessary stops to get a quick job finished in the proper manner.
The initial work was admittedly done well. However the subsequent lack of communication and disregard for my legitimate frustration with the service is upsetting.
