They are auctioning off parcels of common land to buyers with the insinuation that it can be developed, despite it being very unlikely in the local context. Effectively the cycle is roughly as follows: They sell the land. The buyer realizes shortly after that they can't develop it. They sell it on to another dupe to cover their loss minus legal fees, ad infinitum. The common factor is the auction house taking a cut each time. Am certain the behavior is going to end up on a news expose at some point. -- Thank you for the reply Chris, I refer you to the multiple plots of common land in Staines. For instance 1 adjacent Chestnut manor close, which has exchanged hands multiple times. Or the land adjacent compass point, which was sold with a visualization of a block of flats on it. I believe you have had exchanges with the local residents association on this matter.

awful joke of a company, a property didn't sell with a guide price of 110k i offered 100k they came back and said they wanted 200k lol, misrepresenting guide price by almost 100%
