First time going to do my nails at the salon, and decided I wanted to do acrylics with pink gel polish. (05/02/23) ~Pros: ~ - The woman who did my nails was gentle but would keep grabbing my hand half of the time - She listened to what shape & colour I wanted for my nails and how long I wanted them. - She didnt take too long to do them either, quick and efficient. - Good location despite being on a busy main road ~Cons:~ - Price is quite high especially if youre just going for a simple look for your nails - The woman who did my nails was a bit agitated and barely spoke a word to me besides when asking me what shape and colour I wanted and how long I wanted them. (I think she just wanted to get on with it, so she could focus, which is fair enough but a hello and how are you would be nice.) - My nails were painted good in the end, however after looking closely, there was some gel nail polish near my cuticles and on my finger. But other than that they still looked great!! -Not a huge choice of product brands - Yesterday (11/02/23) two of my nails came off, which kinda indicates to me that these acrylics dont last long. I feel like the woman who did my nails filed too much as my real nails started to really hurt after getting them done after a couple of days. My real nails now feel very weak, painful and break easily. Overall, not too bad of service but could definitely be way way better. Start greeting customers nicely please!! (And actually make them feel welcome). Service: Acrylic nails
