When i was looking for a home i did the tour around with my son . A soon as the door opened we both said this is the one . My wife spent nearly 3 happy years at the home with Alzheimers and was treated with dignity and respect by all the staff . When the vacancy came up for a new manager i suggested to Nish to give Lois a chance as she new the residents and staff and how the home works . I was pleased to see she got the job and is doing a well . My wife passed away last April so i do not go to the home much now , but we still keep in touch . People still tell me that Kingswood is a good home and all staff dedicated to the care of residents . A big thankyou to Lois and all the girls for all you did for BARBARA .

My father has lived at Kingswood for over two years. He has Alzheimers and seems to like the relaxed atmosphere at Kingswood. Just like being at home. He can come and go as he chooses. No strict rules making him do anything he doesn't want to do. The staff are very friendly and I feel they know the residents personally. It can't be easy to look after older people with varying degrees of illness but they do a good job. There are a couple of staff members, who I see on a Sunday, who deserve extra praise but ALL staff, including Nish, are very special.
