What a hidden gem. I was in the fortunate position to have visited Uplands house last week and was able to stay due to a work commitment nearby. We were welcomed in a good old fashioned English way with tea and a home made cake by the most warm and attentive host Poppy. The place is packed with antiques and eclectic artefacts which adds to the great charm of the place. My colleague and I were very comfortable in our rooms, we both slept really well in our charming rooms which had all the amenities we could possibly need. The view from one of the rooms we occupied the Chinese room over looked the fields and gardens which was a lovely treat. The hosts cooked up a lovely dinner for us after a pre dinner drink served to us by the fire place. We had the pleasure to have them join us for dinner and were very happy to get to know them. Breakfast was delicious with top notch ingredients, home made jams etc over all I would highly recommend a visit. It is very unique and very relaxing and you are truly given the 5 star treatments. The house is also set by fields and beautiful gardens so you really feel you have escaped. I plan to return with friends one day.

Upland house is a beautiful country side B & B tucked away location next to Upton house Its a perfect location to go around Cotswold and Oxfordshire. We served with Champagne, cakes and Tea after our arrival. Poppy and Graham are lovely people. Wed Banquet dinner with on Saturday night. Graham cooked me delicious vegetarian food for me on the Banquet night. Poppy is a delight. They have a beautiful house and lovely garden. Many Exotic flower varieties and fragrant roses etc., . Poppy gives us direction details to places we intended to go, restaurant details for dinner etc., Delicious breakfast served with freshly squeezed orange juice, yogurt and fruits and other continental foods. House, bedroom and bathroom are well kept and clean. Poppys warm welcome and engaging the customers make you feel us home and you know Poppy for a very long time. Would recommend to friends and family. Plan to stay again there in future Deserves 5 STAR
