Buried the ashes of a family member here in the most peaceful setting with a gorgeous view. A Rowan tree is to be planted this fall. The place provided for the service is not fancy but so well placed. You can see the vista through the long windows. The owner was so kind and respectful and worked well with our wonderful funeral director from Kane Family Funerals. We left feeling so serene and fulfilled.

Having just returned from my Dad's burial at Brocklands, I am moved enough already to leave a review, while the afternoon is still fresh in my mind. Brocklands is perfect if you want a natural burial set in the beautiful Dales. The Hay Barn where we held the ceremony, with the fantastic views was all we could have wished for. The views from Dad's final resting place across to Pen-y-Ghent are amazing. Chris and family were friendly and helpful, nothing being too much trouble. To the lady who left a review complaining about the place being overgrown - that's the idea! If you want a graveyard that is well kept with manicured lawns and gravestones in neat rows, choose an inner city graveyard. If you want a natural burial site, set in the beautiful Dales, then Brocklands is perfect. Personally, in years to come, I am looking forward to spending time looking for Dad's final resting place in amongst the natural habitat of the Yorkshire Dales. Thank you Chris and family.

Overgrown thickets have swallowed my parents graves. It took me 45 minutes to find them . Nettles 10 feet high. Brambles growing over the tree. My fathers tree fell down soon after it was planted and not replaced. The brass numbers have been obliterated by a huge overgrowth of weeds.

Laid my Dad to rest here 4 years ago , he wanted somewhere that would become a natural woodland , this place is perfect after 4 years it no longer looks like a grave it's part of a beautiful meadow during the summer ,in years to come it will be a little woodland as he wanted ,the paths , carpark and buildings are well maintained , Chris is so helpful and on hand if needed.

Wonderful view and a very peaceful, natural place. In summer there are wild flowers in the field and a choice of trees to plant in Autumn for the graves.
