Benns of Halifax

Brilliant, on both our move out from Halifax on 27th March and again on our move over to Lincolnshire on 18th April. Friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble.

Absolute HEROS! We moved from a flat on the 3rd floor with a tiny dodgy lift that everybody else wanted to use on the day. The Benns team took it in their stride with ease. The team also provided counselling and comfort along the way . Once we got to our new place the 3 floors and steep narrow stairs did not faze the team. The very in the way banister to the loft conversion nearly finished us off when we realised that the sofa would not fit! The team were so generous and stayed over schedule whilst we found an emergency joiner to cut the huge banister away. Moving is the most stressful thing you can do so do it with BENNS of Halifax where professionalism care and humour will get you through!

Excellent service from Benns / Darvills from start to finish on our move. Particular thanks to the cheerful, friendly and professional team of Daz, Lewis, Danny, Waddy and Big Rob who also had to deal with moving us out of a 3-storey house on a rainy day. We had excellent dealings with Craig initially on the quote, and further queries, and also with Shirley in the office, and Benns weren't fazed by our discussions about additional options when it appeared at one stage our new property was not going to be ready to move into on the same day. Thankfully we were able to move in on the day, still in the rain, and the team did a great job, taking care of furniture and making sure new carpets stayed clean. We obtained a number of quotes and Benns weren't the cheapest quote we received. However, from our conversations with Craig they were the company we felt would provide us with the best service, and we're very pleased that we chose to work with them.
