My Eldest daughter ( now 26) joined when she was young has the most amazing time even got to represent the cadets in Singapore when she went up in a chinook helicopter and longest zip wire among many other things , if I remeber rightly she also visited the Disney land there too I highly recommend this amazing opportunity for young people brilliant life skills as well as working as part of a team and meet friends for life

They offer a fantastic experience for young people from age 12 - 20. The cadets get free uniform, most of the activities are free... including flying and shooting. There is a monthly subscription of only 8. The cadets attend 2 evenings a week from 7-9.30 pm and they also have the opportunity to take place in weekend activities. My son has been attending for several years now and has flown in several types of aircraft, been shooting, attended week long camps a RAF stations, attended RIAT airshow for weekend as a cadet helper for free, learned how to iron his uniform and polish his shoes! Many young people join as underconfident, quiet and timid children and leave as confident and well rounded young adults.
