Our daughter has had an incredibly positive experience during her time with Helen. She is like a different child - she has gained confidence in her own abilities and has demonstrated her understanding with support and encouragement from Helen who has clearly learnt what a lovely girl she is. She needed to believe in her mathematical abilities and the tutor sessions have allowed her to consolidate and extend upon her existing knowledge and understanding. We are very grateful for your lovely approach Helen - we feel that she is definitely more positive about Maths and will be ready to tackle her SATs in a short number of weeks. Jake had struggled with Maths since starting High School. During lock,down the situatiion worse .I looked at various tutors and came across A Star Tuition group. I spoke with Helen who suggested for Jake to have some session with Arun and see how this went. Jake has now been taking Maths sessions with Arun for over 18 months. He really enjoys these and has shown a massive improvement at school and has a much better understand. Jake is now in year 10. It great that these sessions are on-line. This did concern me at first,but there have been no issues. It actually helps,as Jake feels more comfortable in his own enviroment,so can relax and concentrate. I would highly recommend A Star Tuition if you are looking for a tutor to help your child improve.

Highly recommend Helen as a tutor. The sessions are engaging and challenging and both of my children have grown in confidence whilst enjoying the lessons at the same time.

Our son worked with Helen to prepare for his 11+ exams and her lessons appeared enjoyable, engaging and well-structured. He felt confident about the exam on the day and we are very grateful to Helen for helping him to achieve such impressive results. Our younger son has now started lessons with Sarah in preparation for his year 2 SATS, he is enjoying the sessions and we are hoping his progress continues! We would absolutely recommend A Star Tuition.
