        Plenty of pot-holes and muddy. However, also free, very convenient for footpaths, linear park, cafe and pub .... and of course the station.

        This car park which is free is directly besides Rainford railway station. There must be space in this car park for about 8 or 9 cars. The car park surface seems to be made of gravel rather than tarmac. The entrance to the railway station platforms are quite close to the car park.
