Last weekend was our third visit to The Mash Inn, and it just keeps on giving and surprising. The concept is sheer simplicity with one set menu, food foraged locally and in season, and a chef who I think should get a Michelin star. Thats not an exaggeration. Nick, Jolly and their fabulous team make you feel so very at home and nothing is too much bother. Its fabulous cuisine but executed simply with the one set menu concept, but they do cater for allergies and intolerances We stayed overnight in the Inn, and if youre not local, this is a must. Comfortable rooms with nice attention to detail. We took all four rooms in the Inn, and even the snug room whilst small was very acceptable, with a shower instead of a bath. Still smiling at the lovely weekend we had, complete with stunning country walks, breathtaking views, fabulous food and wine and all just over an hour from London. How lucky are we! Just book it. It wont disappoint.
