Clean Sweep

We had some issues with our fireplace not passing an inspection after it was swept. This was due to degrading in the liner and the cowl being knocked off. Graham came round to inspect and sent us a quote for the job. He is very knowledgeable and clearly knows the in's and out's of this trade. We agreed a price and Graham booked in the work for us. Due to the location of the house weren't able to use a cherry picker which would usually be used for this type of job. HSS Scaffolding were booked to do the scaffolding (pictured) who were all really respectful and did the job with no issues at all. The following day Graham, his wife and Paul who was helping him with the job arrived at around 8:30am. Through-out the day they showed us some of the damage that was done previously when it was first installed and explained the process to us. The new cowl, liner and new fire bricks for the stove were all installed by about 3pm and it was pretty much good as new.
