I go to a Probus group at the church. If you are retired and want to meet nice people (with a cuppa and a biccie) , hear a speaker then come along. You'll enjoy yourself, enrich your life and sometimes totally disagree with the speaker. We also get involved with poppy day collection. 2 club meals a year. Don't forget porch boxes food bank. Can't tell you about the clergy there. Never met them. But feel welcome on the premises.
