Thank you Raaj and all the staff for the smooth transition from respite to permanent care at Ashfields. From the first visit to taking my Father in law in today the care and compassion shown by every member of staff is excellent. He has a lovely room looking out on the court yard which is spotlessly clean as is the rest of the home. The atmosphere in the home is happy which made leaving him so much easier. Thank you again!

From the moment you walk into the home it feels like a home from home, warm and welcoming hotel experience feel. The staff are welcoming and kind and able to make every body at ease. The home is well equipped with modern day amenities reception coffee and refreshments, dining room and family privet dining area. there is a modern and comfortable hairdressers room and spacious garden area and quiet lounge that has cinema activity table to engage with the residents. The care of the dementia residents is engaging and personal to the residents needs from the care team to the activities team and activities provided to help maximise the movement ability and mental stimulation while at a stay at the Ashfield.

My elderly friend has been a resident at Ashfields for almost two years due to declining general health and mental capacity.. During that time she has been cared for by the Ashfields Staff with dignity, kindness and love. The care staff work together to provide a very clean, comfortable, loving and family orientated home for their residents. There is a varied programme of weekly activities which is also emailed to relatives for information and meal menus look inviting and nutritious. In addition, I appreciate greatly the fact that the care home administrator always finds time to help with any queries I may have relating to my friend and her personal affairs when I visit. I can only admire, praise and thank all the staff at Ashfields for their patience, care and dedication to my friend and all the residents in their care.

My mum has been at Ashfields Care Home for over 5 months and is incredibly settled and well. All staff do an exemplary job in their support and care of her. Everything is impeccably clean no matter when I visit - and staff never know when Im going to do so. Activities are stimulating - my mum loves the armchair Zumba!- and varied. The change in my mum since being there is quite remarkable- and Ive noticed this with many others. My relationship with my mum is now the best it has ever been and I feel happy leaving her. Staff also extend their care and support to me too and offer an invaluable listening ear if needed- this includes the admin staff who are always also able to tell me how mum has been doing because of their own personal contact with her. The meals are amazing and residents are made to feel as if they are fine dining with fresh flowers on each table and pristine white table cloths! In the present challenging and difficult climate I think they are doing a great job- keep up the good work- thankyou!!
