Battersea Studio Apartment

Great place at a great price. Right next to the trains station that is one stop away from Victoria Station. 5 star hotel this is not! But a great place for a family to stay? Absolutely. We comfortably had 6 people stay a week and we loved it. Kitchen is well equipped and we had ready cooked meals from the local store (few blocks down the street) almost every evening.

For "serviced" accommodation, we received really poor service when we had a night-time emergency. We arrived back at the apartment at 10.30pm to a tremendous noise coming through the wall. We were told (after multiple attempts to get through on the service number) that there was nothing they could do about the terrible noise coming from the neighbouring (vacant) property (also a my serviced space apartment) which sounded like a small aircraft getting ready for take-off! The noise continued all night causing us and our children to get very little sleep. They sent someone round in the morning and it turned out to be a faulty boiler. When we asked if we could have a refund for that night only, we were told sorry, but no! The apartment was also very poorly cleaned and had pretty mouldy bathrooms. Although in a convenient location - I would never recommend this place!
