Checkley's Post Office & Newsagents

I was thinking the other day of how essential our local Post Office is to us and how lucky we are to have Priti, Paresh et al. My 83 year old Father, visits every morning and they always seem to have a smile and a kind word for him. In truth, they are more like a village Post Office and as a community, we value them greatly. They are simply, exceptional. During lockdown, they visited under my Father's balcony to see if we were ok, not once but twice. I'm sure people in villages would not believe such care and kindness exists in the City but as I say, we are very lucky. Indeed, they are also my one stop shop and are the only Post Office I will go to. We are so lucky to have these wonderful, professional, kind and friendly people serving our community. and I for one am extremely grateful for their care.

Horrible man in there also false advertising as post office isnt open at 6am. Needs to learn common manners! Dont give your money to such an ill-mannered establishment

Always a good experience here, very friendly and helpful staff. If there is a queue it goes pretty quickly
