This is a great park for local residents be it for walks, runs, other wports etc . A few downsides include the fact that the local school uses it as its recreation ground which means that if you want to take a walk or run while the school kids are on their breaks, then it is not the greatest of experiences. Due to poor drainage in some sections of the park, these can become water logged when it rains and in the winter, the water can turn to ice so that it becomes treacherous to walk. I have even had a fall on the ice which took a long time to heal! The local council can't be bothered to do anything about the poor drainage! Dogs are allowed to roam around freely without muzzles on which means that if you are not comfortable around dogs, then this park could be a challenge for you. In spite of these not so minor niggles, this park remains a local favourite and is getting busier all the time.
