Iconic place around for years, food is good, although too over spiced, so sometimes all you could be tasting is the spice, and having sips of water to ease the heat! 2 hour slot for dining - your waiter is literally keeping track of your time, from the time you enter and sit, until your final order , it's like we're trying to 'rush' our meal and can't feel relaxed as you know you'll be asked to leave when your time is up, a bit like home time in school! Prices are over the roof, starters average 9 per order, mains 13.50; I can see why because of the overheads e.g staffing costs -alot if staff, inflation rising costs but it's not the Ivy or a posh nosh in central!!! This place would be a a now and again place, would rather try Sugar and Spice next door, as I've heard prices are reasonable and at least they don't give you a two hour timing
