SILENT YOUR DELIVEROO ORDER MACHINE RING! the most unpleasant experience here while you shop, as one or two staff are running around with their noisy DELIVEROO device in their hand, sounding DLING DLING so loud, you ask them something and they are so frustrated and short on time completely ignore you, as if the deliveroo orders are so privileged and more important than the customers inside the shop, Ive been seeing this problem on going, ask multiple times and they completely ignore, I guess there is a percentage for that member of staff doing the deliveroo, but that should not make the rest of customers feel let down and undervalued!

This store is light, bright and seems clean. The staff I've always found to be alright. I only ever really walk to this store to buy products for Co-op purchase necessary competitions. By buying Coke in this store I won a pair of tickets to EURO2020 plus 250 so this shop has provided me with a great experience. Just because The Co-op is supposed to be 'ethical' doesn't mean its prices are going to be necessarily cheap (rather like charity shops) but sometimes one can get some bargain reduced price items in this particular store.

Very disappointing experience. Extremely rude attitude from Mr M-------. Mr M was in the process of putting Items on the reduced section, I noticed that there were some blueberries which had reached the sell by date waiting to be priced, I asked him if they would be reduced, he said yes and he would do it in shortly, I said OK thanks I'll come back. I continued to do my shopping. After five or ten minutes I returned, the blueberries had not been priced I waited for a few minutes he ignored the fact that I was waiting, I asked him how long he would be, he said maybe 1O more minutes and appeared to get annoyed with me, I asked him if he could price the blueberries so that I could complete my shopping, he said he would do it when he was ready and that it was his job to decide when to do it, while telling me this he dropped a prepared salad on to a filthy floor picked it up and put it straight onto the shelf, when challenged about putting the salad back on the shelf he said it was OK because it had a wrapper, and said that I should complain to customer services if I wasn't happy, at this point I lost my patience and put my shopping basket full of food on his trolly, I said that I would go elsewhere, so would he be so kind as to put the things back for me. If Mr M has a chip on his shoulder about doing shop work perhaps he should consider doing something else, I worked in shops many years ago so I know that dealing with customers not easy and that customers are not always right but I can let Mr M know that a discourteous member of staff is always wrong and that ultimately the customer pays his wages. I would use this shop quite often, perhaps 3 or 4 times a week, I usually spend around 25 to 35 each visit today I would have spent 34.85 this how much I spent at Sainsbury just a few doors away. I ultimately have to blame The Co Op for not having a functional staff training programme or not paying enough to attract responsible staff.
