    I have been to Boots on High Str Ken twice for contact lens testing and havent had any issues with the opticians. However, the lady at the front, whom I believe is called Antigonie, genuinely has the MOST appalling attitude towards customers, which I have picked up at every visit. I recently went into Boots to change my direct debit details for the contact lens scheme, and it turns out that instead of changing my details, the member of staff who helped me actually cancelled my membership. I never approved of this, nor received any confirmation until Boots head office phoned me to tell me that I was due for a refund as a payment had been debited from my account but my membership no longer existed. To sign up again, I would have to start from scratch and pay three months instalments before seeing any contact lenses. In the meantime, Id have to buy contact lenses up front, to last me the 3 months. I have already done this when I joined and refuse to do so again. I have an email from Boots head office apologising for the inconvenience and offering to provide me 3 months of contact lenses up front to compensate for their mistake. I have an email proving and confirming this. When I went into Boots High Str Ken to explain this, Antigonie instantly began to raise her voice and tell me it was not their fault, and that there was nothing they could do. When I refused to accept (given it was someone in their staffs mistake), she ordered me to take a seat for someone else to speak to me. Her tone and behaviour was abhorrent and I genuinely do not understand how she is in customer service. Disgusting.

    Worst of the worst. Opticians are amazing unfortunately the rest of the staff are incompetent no customer service at all. Please avoid at all cost

    Terrible services, incompetent support staff, Dishonest opticians. Went there to do eye test for my son and paid for new prescription. I repeatedly emphasised he is wearing a special lenses (MiYosmart lenses) and we need to make sure the dots in the central. But when we came to collect the glasses, they gave us a pair of normal ones. We were a bit upset but happy to come back 4 days later to redo the eye test with the same Opticians. Because we paid for the right amount for the MiYosmart, however others cannot make changes so we need to confirm quoted by the staffs from the shops. Came back after 4 days later, at the beginning they could not find our appointment for eye test, afterwards, when the optician came to talk to us and game us the same pair of the glasses we tried on Tuesday! The lady spent 25 mins saying they gave us all the options but we chose means not to have MiYosmart lenses! How could we?! We asked her: 1. How could even possible parents changed from special ones (using it to slow down the shortsighted progress) to a normal ones? 2. As a specialist, how could they not checked what we are currently wearing and not check their system? 3. How could they ignored what I have repeated saying this is a special ones to slow down the progress; 4. Why the staffs told us to come back again not update anything in their system and then we came here just being treated as fools to be given the same glasses? They said they do not know and refused to apologise or resolve this! Completely a waste of my time and worst experience ever!
