Launceston Place

Absolutely wonderful place that you need to try in London. The tasting menu is priced reasonably and every dish was done really well. I loved the ibrico pork which was tender and delicious and the white asparagus that was so juicy. The lychee sorbet and jalapeo was also refreshing with a hint of spiciness. Service was also excellent.

Not worthwhile if you are lactose intolerant. We went as pair - one lactose intolerant and one not. And it was very clear that the lactose intolerant option for the tasting menu was significantly subpar. Id insist on the pigeon option even if you are lactose intolerant, because the mushroom substitute did not come close to the pigeon option. The lactose intolerant dessert option was a complete let down. It was very tart. Period. Would recommend skipping it if that is your only option. The wine list is strong, the service was great and the cocktails were memorable, but unfortunately, the tasting menu did not standout.

My recent visit to Launceston Place was nothing short of exceptional, with the highlight being their mouthwatering lamb dishes. As a fervent fan of lamb, I was thrilled to find that this restaurant not only met my high expectations but surpassed them with their culinary expertise and well-crafted menu.
