A few days ago I had an appointment and everything went well, until it was my turn and I went to the specified area to meet with this lady. She immediately looked at me with disgust in her eyes and contempt in her voice. When you tell her certain documents were not brought as it was not mentioned in the list, she starts asking for even more documents that have nothing to do with the application at hand. Word for word, she then said "Oh let me guess, you also didn't bring it because it also wasn't in the list!" You don't want to be dealing with someone as unprofessional, rude, and arrogant as this person. Let me state that the Embassy and every other official is extremely pleasant to deal with, all of my previous interactions with this lady's colleagues were more than pleasant. This was the only time where I felt genuinely disgusted with the interaction I had experienced. It would behoove the embassy to remove this specific official from their position, as it is clear they are unfit for the job. 5 stars for the embassy, negative 2 stars for the employee in question.

It blows my mind that the Netherlands would use VFS Global to process something as important as visas and passports. Are they not reading the reviews? Have they done this purposefully to frustrate Schengen applicants? I'm missing my flights and the festival I booked (in good faith, believing this embassy is able to process its visa applications effectively, outsourced or not) for the second year in a row. It's disgraceful.
